Thanks to Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Atlanta and Braves Pr for inviting me out to view the iconic movie turned musical A Christmas Story!

I enjoyed A Christmas Story, The Musical even more than I enjoyed the motion movie that was released in 1983. The musical stayed true to everything about the original movie from the set design to the script, but what made the musical a step above was the depth that the songs and dance sequences added. The iconic scenes became even more so through well choreographed dance and song numbers. I don’t want to spoil anything for those of you who will be experiencing this musical for the first time but trust you and your entire family will fall in love with A Christmas Story The Musical.

A Christmas Story, The Musical has debuted at the Fox Theatre and will run from now until December 4th as part of the Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Atlanta 2016/2017 season. The production chronicles young Ralphie Parker as he schemes hi way towards the holiday gift of his dreams, an official Red Ryder Carbine-Action 200 Shot Range Model Air Rifle. An infamous leg lamp, outrageous pink bunny pajamas, a maniacal department store Santa and a triple- dog-dare to lick a freezing flagpole are just a few of the distractions that stand between Ralphie and his Christmas wish. Chock-full of delightful songs and splashy production numbers, A Christmas Story The Musical, has proudly taken its place as a perennial holiday classic for the whole family.
