The Center for Puppetry Arts is spinning straw into gold as Rumpelstiltskin returns this summer, August 1-September 8! This classic fairytale will delight children and adults alike; filled with fun music and all the antics of the infamous imp himself, Rumpelstiltskin! Adapted by Bobby Box and Michael Haverty, Rumpelstiltskin is performed with colorful, hand-crafted marionettes designed and constructed by the Center’s own puppet builders. Amy Sweeney, the Center’s head puppeteer, makes her directorial début with this lively production that features veteran puppeteer Reay Kaplan and Tim Sweeney.
