Emory Point: Dine, Indulge And Dwell

Emory Point is a vibrant, urban oasis featuring a unique mix of upscale residential, retail and restaurants.

A few Metro Atlanta Bloggers myself included were invited to tour Emory Point, nestled in the historic Druid Hills neighborhood of Atlanta, close to the CDC, Emory University, and Emory Healthcare. I was more than happy to go check out a new place were I can shop, eat and even get pampered all without going to an over congested and overwhelming mall. I was more than pleased with what I found in just phase 1 of this development, a family friendly- environment where there is a little something for everyone, including a beautiful park area where the kids can burn off some energy

Emory Point Dine

Our first stop, after parking the car in the parking garage (complimentary for 2hrs before 5pm & 3hrs after 5pm), was to the General Muir a restaurant whose accolades includes being, Atlanta Magazine Restaurant of the Year for 2013. Critics are saying it is like a New York Styled Jewish Deli, but in Atlanta. I’ve never visited New York or a Jewish Deli, so I’ll just say its yummy! In addition to General Muir there are several other dinning experiences you can choose from including Tin Lizzy’s Cantina, which offers amazing food and awesome service staff! Bonefish Grill, Paradise Biryani Pointe offers authentic Indian cuisine with a redefined twist, La Tagliatella is a European based Italian restaurant and Fresh to Order offers dining featuring Panini sandwiches, soups and salads.

Emory Point Indulge

Your day at Emory Point would not be complete without a little shopping and pampering, so indulge in the awesome shops and boutiques that they have to offer. American Threads is a boutique for the free spirited girl who craves indie and unique designers, Fab’rik is a shop-o-holic’s dream, fab’rik delivers high style without attitude or sticker shock and Jos. A. BankA unique menswear retailer all three offer something unique for their shoppers. But, I must say my favorite place was Francesca’s because of their eclectic mix of clothing, bold accessories, and playful gifts. When you have shopped til you dropped make sure you land in Jazmin Spa for a perfect end to a fun filled day.
