My family and I were fortunate enough to receive complimentary admissions to the Extreme Dinosaur Exhibit here in Atlanta, and because we loved it so much we have decided to hold a giveaway of a Family Four Pack of tickets to the exhibit to one of our lucky readers.
Extreme Dinosaurs
Extreme Dinosaurs gathers some of the world’s strangest dinosaurs in an experience that showcases the stories behind their unique appearance. Guests are immersed in a naturalistic landscape filled with 17 lifelike and life-size animatronic dinosaurs that roar, snarl, open their jaws, blink their eyes, move their limbs and much more. Featuring some of the newest dinosaur finds from the current “Golden Age” of paleontology, the exhibition includes life-size animatronic models, skeletons, real fossils and fossil replicas including a favorite of younger guests, dinosaur dung.
Our Experience At Extreme Dinosaurs
After we reassured them that these super life-like dinosaurs were indeed robots, the boys were able to relax and really take in the entire experience. The boys got a kick out of the fact that each room seemed to come alive when we entered it, thanks to motion sensors. As a mother I am glad that exhibit engaged most of my sons senses, poor taste buds had to sit out on this adventure, but there was no shortage of things to touch, hear and see. There was never a dull moment once one dinosaur was taking all in, right around the corner was an interactive table, or some sort of button to push that kept them in awe. The length of the exhibit was perfect for my four and five-year old rather short at time attention spans. And did I mention the location it is at Atlantic Station, which was a perfect place for us because the hubby was able to join us on his lunch brunch because of its proximity to downtown.
