Thanks to Brave PR for the complimentary tickets to experience Disney’s Beauty and the Beast!
In middle school we performed a medley of popular Disney songs at a recital and Beauty and the Beast soundtrack was prominent in this performance. A mere 20 + years later and I found myself singling along to all the catchy tunes as Broadway in Atlanta’s production of Beauty and the Beast dazzled the crowd on opening night here in Atlanta at the Fox Theatre. Although, there were plenty of little princesses to be seen in the audience this production is for everyone. The performances and vocals were stellar and choreography was very well done. I was most impressed by the seamlessness of the set transformation that seemed to tell a story all on its own. I could go on and on but instead I want you to come back and share with us how you enjoyed the show after you go see it during its limited engagement here in Atlanta from now until Sunday!
Disney’s Beauty and the Beast
Based on the 1991 Academy Award®-winning animated feature film and celebrating 21 years since its Broadway premiere in 1994, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast is the ninth longest running musical in Broadway history that has become an international sensation seen by over 35 million people worldwide in 22 countries, and translated into 9 different languages. This production launched in February 2010 and has been seen nearly 3 million people…
One of my favorite minor characters is Chip, a little boy/tea-cup, the character brings in a touch of innocence and an extra helping of joy to the production. While enjoying an amazing broadway play don’t forget about all the little “Chips” in our community, you can help fight illiteracy and support our youth by donating a new and gently used books in the donation bin located near the Broadway in Atlanta display table.
We Loved Beauty and the Beast!
