There is a functioning winery right in the heart of Atlanta. But don’t be mistaken not only are they pumping out amazing wine, but they are providing live entertain, delicious lunch and dinner and have more recently added weekend brunch to their list of services.
City Winery strives to deliver the highest-end combined culinary and cultural experience to our customers who are passionate in sharing wine, music, and culinary arts. We are a unique facility, combining a fully functioning winery with intimate concerts, food & wine classes, private events in a variety of configurations, and fine dining. We have created a compelling mix for our sophisticated clientele of foodies, and active cultural patrons—bringing the wine country experience to the middle of a large city.
Before brunch we were treated to a tour of the entire facility including the fermentation room where all the magic happens. Obviously City Winery Atlanta doesn’t have its very on vineyard right here in Atlanta , instead they source their grapes from Washington and California. This urban winery has processed nearly 55 tons of grapes between late September and early October in the fermentation tanks you see above. Although they don’t bottle their wine for sale they do offer private bottle labeling should you host an event in one of their charming private spaces.
I was really impressed by the variety they offered during their brunch service, view City Winery’s Brunch Menu. Due to the laid back atmosphere we felt comfortable passing our plates around to share and I must say the food was stellar, but of course I had my favorites, which were the blue berry muffins and the pancakes (carb, carbs and more carbs)! City Winery also had a great tea selections, for us tea lovers! I know your thinking, but what about the wine? When having brunch at City Winery you can order wine after 12:30 on Sundays so we ended our brunch with a glass or two. 😉
There was six bloggers at the brunch so don’t worry I didn’t consume this alone.
Remember City Winery has MUSIC, wine and food. My friend and fellow blogger Daphne at MushyMamma.com recently enjoyed a date night at City Winery check out her experience. Make sure you stay connected to City Winery Atlanta on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to get all the details about upcoming performances and to be granted access to their exclusive Speakeasy!
