Taste of Atlanta Great Local Restaurants

TasteOfAtlantaRosebud

While there we were able to familiarize ourselves with local restaurants we probably would have never known about. Rosebud and it’s chef and owner Ron Eyester, is one that we will definitely add to our list of must visit restaurants. Rosebud’s dedication to prepared fresh with local and sustainable ingredients all while making awesome American cuisine, caused it to be my winner of Best Restaurant at Taste of Atlanta.

Taste of Atlanta Best Dessert

tasteOfAtlantaSugarShack

Oh Sugar Shack you have won this chocolate lover over, although I must admit the name alone guaranteed a visit from me. For the price of 2 tickets= $2 I was able to purchase their delicious brownies you see in the picture above and even decided to share with the hubby as it was too good to keep to myself. In addition to having great deserts I loves their stand, it gave some insight into what I might see when visiting their location.

Taste of Atlanta Surprise

Taste of Atlanta

Progresso Artisan soup was definitely a pleasant surprise. Like with so many other booths at the Taste of Atlanta I was drawn to sample their food by the attractiveness of their booth and the pleasantness of its representatives, but I went back a few times (our little secret) for the soup. It was awesome in all honestly I don’t think I have ever had Progresso Artisan soup so I don’t know if it’s the new Tetra Pak packaging that has it tasting so amazing, but I must say its the best prepackaged soup I have EVER tasted.

The weather was great, the people were amazing and the food was delicious. What more could you ask for? If you were unable to attend the Taste of Atlanta this year make sure to mark your calendar for this time next year so you won’t miss out on this great event.
