I recently did a post on 7 Steps From Crochet Braids To Straightened and during that straightening session I used a product that’s new to me called Chi Silk Infusion as a heat protectant. I was introduced to Chi Silk Infusion through my fellow vloggers on YouTube, several YouTuber’s spoke so highly of the product that I had to try it.

As you may notice it doesn’t directly say that it is a heat protectant, but after doing my research and reading between the lines I was confident that it would be an effective heat protectant. To sum it up because there are so may “proteins” in the formula that it coats the strands of your hair and therefore protects it from the heat.
