I must say when my family and I were offered tickets to The Rock Ranch, I was intrigued by all their attractions but had never heard of them. I am so glad that we went because this was truly one of Georgia’s hidden gems. My family and I enjoyed ourselves so much that we decided to do a giveaway so you and your family can enjoy a day at The Rock Ranch!
What Is The Rock Ranch
The Rock Ranch is a beautiful 1,500 acre cattle ranch located about an hour south of Atlanta in Upson County. It’s a place where families, school groups and even businesses can come to enjoy what we call “agritourism.” The Rock Ranch was founded by the late S. Truett Cathy of Chick-fil-A and is dedicated to “Growing Healthy Families”!
A day at The Rock Ranch is packed full of excitement, fun, adventure and making memories. Train rides, zip lines, jumping pillows, cane pole fishing, paddle boats, and horse rides are just a few of the attractions that will make your day truly memorable.
Not only are we dedicated to Growing Healthy Families, we’re also all about growing fresh produce right here on the ranch. Strawberries, blueberries and fresh corn just to name a few. We also offer fresh, grain-fed, hormone/steroid free all natural beef, raised right here. The finest beef around.
Fall Family Fun Days
The Rock Ranch isn’t open every weekend, but when they are it is certainly worth the trip. So make sure to check their calendar to plan your trip! We attended Lumberjack day of the The Fall Family Day Line up. Every weekend there is something different going on The “Not-So-Spooky” Halloween Festival, Pumpkin Destruction Day, The Great Outdoor Adventure, Farm Heritage Day featuring Bob & Larry of VeggieTales® are themes that are remaining for this season. In addition to all the wonderful events planned for the fall, this year’s corn maze celebrates “75 Years of Oz.” The maze is the most interactive and exciting maze ever. It features the likeness of Dorothy, Toto, The Scarecrow, The Cowardly Lion and The Tin Man. Guests can enjoy character meet & greets and photos with their favorite characters from Wizard of Oz!
