The Center For Puppetry Arts always puts on the coolest puppet shows that the whole family can enjoy. My oldest son recently have expressed and interest in Astrology so the timing on the Center for Puppetry and Arts new performance SPACE! couldn’t be any better.

Discover an intergalactic voyage of exploration in the rock ‘n’ rolling hit SPACE!at the Center for Puppetry Arts. An out-of-this-world adventure for astronauts of all sizes, extraterrestrial guides take audiences on a trip through the Solar System and beyond! Returning after a four-year mission to parts unknown, the Center’s fun-filled look at the final frontier blasts off from the puppet stage with a balance of entertainment and education for all ages to enjoy.
Featuring scientific facts presented by a band of five rocking space aliens, explorers learn stellar facts about planets, stars, meteors and more! As audience members are beamed aboard to join the celestial crew, they’ll learn first-hand about gravitational pull with Sir Isaac Newton, gaze at Saturn’s rings with Galileo, rock out on the asteroid belt and zoom off to the edge of the universe. What fuels the sun, how planets got their names and much more will be revealed in this cosmic trip filled with special effects and an eclectic musical score.
Recommended for ages 4 and up, SPACE! will be performed in the Mainstage Theater, January 28-March 10.
Regular show times are as follows:
- Tuesday-Friday: 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
- Saturday: 12 p.m. and 2 p.m.
- Sunday: 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
